- Yes, it most certainly is. I'm doing it right now. My Amiga has a CSLIP
- connection to the Internet, and it has an ethernet connecting it and a
- Macintosh. Soon, we'll be adding a Sun workstation. I also have 2 extra
- serial ports (& par. port), 1 of which I use to have an extra user running
- on my Amiga (a standard shell with stdio redirected to the terminal).

- Now for the bad news. I think SLIrP is sorta like TIA and all those other
- things, in that it doesn't really allocate an IP address to you. In my
- case, I got my provider to allocate a 4-bit (16 address, up to 14 nodes)
- subnet to me. So, I simply allocate an address from that pool to each
- machine on my ethernet (the Amiga actually gets 2, one for the SLIP interface
- and the other for it's ethernet interface).

- I'll defer to someone who knows more about SLIrP, and whether it can
- handle multiple source addresses from the dial-in side.
