  23. Yes, it most certainly is. I'm doing it right now. My Amiga has a CSLIP
  24. connection to the Internet, and it has an ethernet connecting it and a
  25. Macintosh. Soon, we'll be adding a Sun workstation. I also have 2 extra
  26. serial ports (& par. port), 1 of which I use to have an extra user running
  27. on my Amiga (a standard shell with stdio redirected to the terminal).

  40. Now for the bad news. I think SLIrP is sorta like TIA and all those other
  41. things, in that it doesn't really allocate an IP address to you. In my
  42. case, I got my provider to allocate a 4-bit (16 address, up to 14 nodes)
  43. subnet to me. So, I simply allocate an address from that pool to each
  44. machine on my ethernet (the Amiga actually gets 2, one for the SLIP interface
  45. and the other for it's ethernet interface).

  47. I'll defer to someone who knows more about SLIrP, and whether it can
  48. handle multiple source addresses from the dial-in side.
